Painting Instructions

How to paint your Garage Door

 

1.      Scrub your door with a Scotch Brite pad and TSP (Tri Sodium Phosphate) to remove the “shine”.

2.      Rinse with water.

3.      Apply 2 to 3 coats of a good alkyd latex, gloss or semi-gloss paint using a good grade 4 inch bristle brush and an inexpensive foam roller.

4.      Brush in the raised panel first.

5.      Roll the entire section with roller.

6.      Brush the entire section with bristle brush.

7.      Check for thick paint (drips, runs, etc.).
